Welcome to Our Hallo-Wedding!

It's Halloween night 2026, and you have been invited to attend the wedding of a mysterious vampire and his forest witch bride (read: Keith and Stephanie). The ceremony and reception will be held in a haunted castle deep in the woods (of Wisconsin). Maybe you are a local villager, a fairytale creature, or a witch from a neighboring coven. Maybe you are a spooky ghost, one of Dracula's old pals, or a REALLY big fan of the Twilight movies (you know who you are). Or maybe you are a begrudging friend or relative who is tired of our nonsense... ...whoever you may be, we are excited to have you be part of our big day! Come as you are (or as you aren't) to help us celebrate our Halloween Wedding!

Our Wedding

...A vampire and a witch fell in love. After many years together, the two chose to wed in a small castle deep in the woods. While there was nothing altogether unusual about the marriage of these two beings, the joining of any two families is a momentous occasion. As such, the vampire invited his close friends and relatives, ranging from other vampires, fairy royalty, and those of the local village who viewed him as a friend. Likewise, the witch summoned her own allies, including members of her coven as well as nobility from far-off kingdoms. As the day of the wedding approached, all manner of magical and non-magical creatures began arranging for the journey, gathering, and preparing to celebrate the start of a new era.

Also once upon a time, but in a more factual manner:

Keith and Stephanie met in junior high, became best friends, and eventually started dating on Valentine’s Day of 2013. After supporting each other through all the ups-and-downs of school, careers, cross-country moves, and even more school, they figured it was about time they made things official. Now 13 years later, a Halloween wedding seemed like the best way to celebrate, make sure they never forget their own anniversary, and maintain the sense of humor and whimsy that got them this far. Please join them in kicking off their happily ever after!

Our priority is to make sure everyone feels comfortable enough to have fun in what they are wearing. If you do not want to wear a costume, please do not feel pressured to do so! We will also have several basic costume elements (such as capes or cloaks) available at the wedding/reception that you can add to your outfit for photos, if desired. For those of you who are excited to come in costume, here are some inspiration photos to help get you started! Our overall "theme" generally fits into three categories: Typical Halloween Monsters (ghosts, werewolves, vampires, mummies, zombie, etc) Fantasy Creatures (dwarves, elves, dragons, wizards, fairies, etc) Fantasy Townsfolk (knights, royalty, blacksmiths, hunters, pirates, vikings, etc) That said, feel free to get creative and have fun with it! Don't hesitate to reach out to Keith, Stephanie, or a member of their families/bridal party if you have any questions. We can't wait to see you (or whoever you choose to be) there!
